Job Description:

We are seeking to appoint a committed academic to lead our BA (Hons) Interior Design course at Norwich University of the Arts. The post offers an exciting opportunity to develop a critically engaged curriculum and work closely with colleagues across the Architecture courses and to collaborate through teaching and research.

Job Responsibility:

  • Leadership, management and promotion of the BA (Hons) Interior Design award
  • coordination of the shared curriculum for the first year of Interior Design and Architecture
  • teaching across the programme according to specialist knowledge
  • advancing pedagogy, research and knowledge exchange in the subject area
  • developing a critically engaged curriculum
  • working closely with the Director of Architecture and Interior Design and other Course Leaders
  • promoting courses to prospective students and teachers both at home and internationally
  • equipping students with social, cultural and critical capital
