You'll be scanning parcels ranging from 1kg to 30kgs, manually loading your truck, hopping in and out of the truck all day, delivering parcels, and handling returns. Job Responsibility:

Safely hand loading your truck with freight for your deliveries at the facility
Completing your own daily vehicle safety check
Driving our MR trucks between our operational centres and customers, for deliveries and adhoc pick-ups
Returning to our operational centres to unload pick-ups
Scanning parcels ranging from 1kg to 30kgs
Manually loading your truck
Hopping in and out of the truck all day
Delivering parcels
Handling returns.

Requirements:

Be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Hold a medium rigid vehicle license
Be able to drive manual transmission trucks
Be fit enough to load and unload freight items of all different shapes, sizes and weights, frequently in and out of a truck
Be safety-focused and understand the importance of chain of responsibility
Have a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills
You will need to meet our safe working load limit of weighing 130kgs or less
Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening and national criminal history checks.

Experience as a truck driver, a courier driver, a delivery driver or being physically fit and wanting to get into the transport industry.
