Job Description:

This position is responsible for creating cleaner and healthier environments for our customer's building and grounds. To participate in maintaining, improving and developing County Parks, the facilities and resources they contain. The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to a variety of building maintenance and custodial duties.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools and procedures
  • Sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, restroom cleaning, windows, dusting
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
  • Use proper PPE where required
  • Opens and locks facilities
  • Removal of trash and proper disposal
  • Performs custodial duties including but not limited to disinfecting, cleaning of restroom facilities, washing floors, walls, tables
  • Attends work regularly and in a timely manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
  • The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs
  • Constant (up to 100%) sitting, standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching

Nice to have:

  • Experience as a custodian, janitor or housekeeper is a plus
