Job Responsibility:

  • Optimise sales and long-term profitability
  • Decide on gross margin and profit budgets
  • Drive ambition of being first choice for home furnishings, including ecommerce
  • Work with other functions within the Country Commercial Team to develop long-term strategies, engage partners, execute tactical plans, establish clear goals, and translate ideas into realities
  • Know our global priorities, our range, life at home, and competition to meet the needs of our customers at home
  • Analyse the qualitative performance of our market
  • Ensure the Service Office Selling team in Thailand leads and supports their matrix in existing and new IKEA stores
  • Work with the Store Sales Managers to help them make improvements to their customers’ shopping experience
  • Work with Store Sales Managers to develop their commercial skills

Requirements:

  • Solid experience as an IKEA Store Sales Manager or Sales experience in Service Office
  • Good understanding of the role and tasks of the Selling team in IKEA Service Office
  • Self-motivated, sharp, analytical and results-oriented
  • Flair for engaging people at all levels and influencing outcomes
  • Experience in strategic planning and problem solving in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for home furnishings and understanding life at home
  • Proven record of strong leadership with experience in leading people
