Job Description:

The Country Project Subject Matter Expert role at IKEA focuses on managing and improving country-specific processes related to Source to Pay (S2P) and Record to Report (R2R). The SME will analyze existing processes, address gaps, and support organizational change, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), SAP role mapping, and data validation. The role is hybrid, with opportunities to work from the IKEA Service Office in Funabashi or from home. Flexible working hours and extensive benefits are provided.

Job Responsibility:

  • Secure country specifics in the S2P (Source to Pay) Direct process are analysed for potential fits or gaps to the new ways of working
  • Manage and review all posting to ensure the general ledger is accurate and complete
  • Ensure all required reports can be produced from available information
  • Provide input on local TLS requirements as part of fit-gap assessment
  • Input to functional design and process design needed to close country-specific requirements
  • Support SAP roles mapping to the end users
  • Provide feedback and input on localisation of training material
  • Outline incremental UAT testing scenarios
  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide input on solution acceptance
  • Support data cleansing, validate data for migration, and support business cutover
  • Participate or drive root cause analysis activities post go-live

Requirements:

  • End-to-end thinking (to avoid sub-optimization)
  • Ability to understand global blueprint and design principles
  • Digital understanding (experience with Ariba preferred)
  • Ability to communicate and influence others, creating networks and trustful relationships
  • Ability to explain the process to end users and identify the main areas of change
  • Ability to understand the AS IS and understand the gap to TO BE and be able to translate the change
  • Very good understanding of existing ways of working within area of expertise within full country scope (all companies in scope)
  • Target operating model, global blueprint and process understanding
  • Cross functional process knowledge Source to Pay (direct) and TEC
