For the incoming leader, there is both a strong platform to build on and a genuine opportunity to shape what comes next. About the Opportunity: Reporting to an Executive Vice President based in Australia, this role carries full P&L accountability across the New Zealand business. It is a true general management appointment spanning operations, sales, customer relationships, health and safety, and people leadership with six direct reports and an experienced, capable team. The incoming leader will protect and build on what is working, oversee a site capacity and automation programme, and lead a strategic review of one of the business’s key service lines. This is a role for a proven business operator with the commercial acumen, leadership presence, and change management experience to take a high-performing business further and restore momentum where it is needed.
Job Responsibility:
Full P&L ownership – revenue, EBITDA, unit costs, and operational KPIs across the New Zealand business
Leadership and development of direct reports across operations, sales, customer service, and support functions
Senior customer relationship management and sales growth
Oversight of site capacity expansion, including line automation and increased repair capacity as needed
Health and safety culture leadership across all NZ sites
Representation on the ANZ management team, with regular reporting and forecasting
Governance and legal compliance as a standalone NZ legal entity
Requirements:
A proven General Manager or Country Manager with full P&L ownership and cross-functional leadership experience
Background in selling logistics and supply chain solutions to manufacturers and retailers or a comparable industry
Demonstrated success leading organisations through change, transformation, or performance improvement
Commercial rigour paired with strong customer-facing presence and relationship-building capability
Comfortable operating with autonomy within a regional reporting structure
A leader who sets the standard — accountable, driven, and credible at every level of the organisation
