Job Description

Are you a proven B2B hunter in FMCG who loves opening doors and technical selling to grow industrial accounts? Prefer being out with customers over sitting behind a desk? Signature Career Management is partnered with a privately owned, high-growth food ingredients business in frozen poultry and seafood. The business has just delivered its strongest year to date and is targeting growth to smash £120m in 2026. While retail is growing fast, foodservice and industrial remain the main growth area – and this hire is critical to that next phase. This is a relationship-first, commercially sharp business that wins through consistency, technical flexibility, and showing up on site – not just trading on price. What’s the role? You’ll take ownership of B2B industrial customers across key UK manufacturing regions, building a pipeline from scratch and converting entrenched supply relationships into long-term partnerships. This is a true hunter role: on the road, in factories, shaping specs, and working closely with commercial and procurement to land and grow volume. Long sales cycles. Tight margins. Big impact. If you want an easy, desk-based role, this isn’t it. If you want to build something visible and valuable, this may be worth exploring!

Job Responsibility

  • Win new B2B industrial customers
  • Build and manage a strong new business pipeline
  • Develop long-term, trust-based factory relationships
  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to repeat supply
  • Work closely with commercial and procurement on pricing, specs and supply chain
  • Maintain a strong, focused on-the-road presence

Requirements

  • Proven B2B / industrial food or commodity sales experience
  • A genuine hunter mentality with a track record of winning new business
  • Experience selling into factories or industrial manufacturers
  • Strong relationship builder, comfortable with long sales cycles
  • Commercial, resilient, and happy in low-margin, high-volume environments
