Contribute as an active member of the Country Management Team, define and lead the country growth plan in omni retail reality
Ensuring alignment with IKEA’s global priorities and local market opportunities
Focusing on strategic and operational business opportunities, ensure holistic, end-to-end business continuity and a sustainable profitability agenda
Responsible for the country development agenda of the Retail Area, defining the roadmap for strategic and operational business opportunities for the country
Lead development in alignment with other Country Retail Areas, contribute for IKEA and Ingka’s development agenda
Leverage IKEA’s brand strength and home furnishing expertise to inspire & attract consumers therefore drive penetration and growth
Position IKEA as the go-to brand for home furnishing solutions, building a strong competitive advantage in the local market
Drive customer-centricity and brand loyalty by ensuring a seamless and coherent customer experience across channels
Champion omnichannel integration connected to the Retail Area, securing strong and integrated digital and service elements to enhance IKEA offer
Responsible to secure the Retail Area is working and evolving in full alignment with the totality of our business
Lead, coach, and develop leaders across all functions
Secure interdependence, and collaboration across teams, fostering a high-performing, values-driven team culture

Proven advanced training in Sales, Marketing, Communications, Business Management or equivalent
Minimum of 10 years of working with Sales, Marketing, Communications, Business Management or equivalent
Experience of strategic business planning
Experience of multi-channel customer experience
Experience from retail (preferably) home furnishing sector
Experience of change management, large scale transformations and handling people consequences
Strong documented leadership and managerial skills
Knowledge of how to set direction, create and manage long-term plans, set budgets and goals, and follow up on KPIs
Key knowledge specific to each of the six Commercial functions
Knowledge of how to drive extraordinary growth, profitability and increase customer recruitment, conversion, engagement and lifetime value
Knowledge of creating a unique image for IKEA in the many peoples mind and establish a significant and differentiated presence in the market that attracts and activates customers
Knowledge of IKEAs corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people, to ensure the creation of Commercial plan with a distinct brand identity
Good knowledge of IKEA sustainability policies
