We are pleased to invite you to join us as the Country General Manager, leading our operations in Madrid and Valencia and driving the development of our Project Logistics, FTL/LTL, Air & Sea, and strategic market portfolio in Spain.

Job Responsibility:

  • Full executive ownership of the Spanish organization, ensuring operational excellence across sales, logistics, operations, and customer service
  • P&L leadership with responsibility for budgeting, profitability, financial reporting, forecasting accuracy, and disciplined cost control
  • Strategic expansion of Industrial Project Logistics, driving business growth in the Spanish and wider Iberian market by developing high-value EPC partnerships, strengthening project cargo capabilities, and ensuring a transparent end-to-end commercial pipeline—from opportunity origination to successful delivery
  • Development and execution of a market growth strategy supported by a rigorous commercial funnel, including opportunity generation, negotiation leadership, margin optimization, and deal closure
  • Strengthening key client relationships while securing flawless execution of customer requirements and strict adherence to internal processes, compliance standards, and legal frameworks
  • Building and optimizing the supplier/carrier ecosystem to ensure reliability, capacity, and alignment with global policies across project logistics, FTL/LTL, Air, and Sea transport
  • Leading and developing high-performing teams through strong hiring, coaching, performance management, and close collaboration with HQ, functional directors, and regional leadership

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7–8 years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding
  • At least 3 years in senior management roles (Branch Director, COO, or equivalent)
  • Experience leading multi-location teams of 15+ people
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership, financial acumen, and strategic decision-making capability
  • Solid knowledge of Project Logistics, as well as FTL/LTL, Air, and Sea operations
  • Strong, structured leadership style focused on discipline, accountability, and performance
  • Ability to operate under pressure, make firm decisions, and maintain operational control
