Country Food Manager responsible for attracting visitors to IKEA stores, offering great food at lowest prices, ensuring full potential of IKEA Food is realized, and creating better everyday life for many people through well-designed, functional home furnishing products.
Job Responsibility:
Attract visitors to stores and encourage IKEA store visitors to stay longer
Offer great food with quality at lowest prices
Provide co-workers with chance to rest and re-charge
Ensure full potential of IKEA Food is realized through IKEA Food 10 tasks
Lead by example as good ambassador for IKEA Brand
Empower and encourage team to take immediate action to meet customer needs
Create IKEA Food country business plan based on Growing IKEA together and IKEA Food Direction & Strategy
Develop and implement clear IKEA Food country action plan
Create and implement range matrix to secure strong IKEA Food range identity
Ensure substantially lower prices for each product
Work with Business Navigation on IKEA Food yearly Pricing exercise
Ensure IKEA Sustainability Direction and Strategy are in place
Work with HR in recruitment based on IKEA values
Develop IKEA Food team through training
Empower, support and coach managers on the job
Work with stores IKEA Food manager to make IKEA stores successful
Utilise relevant reporting tools such as profit and loss, Functional Commercial Review, Operation Review
Responsible for IKEA Food areas within IKEA store in accordance with IKEA Quality and Food Safety requirements
Ensure all stores food incidents are reported through CASY
Ensure efficient forecasting, ordering and inventory routines are in place
Conduct Food Safety checks, Operation review and Functional review
Requirements:
Sales-driven and passionate about food, people and planet
Good knowledge on Food Safety, Operation of high-volume food business and Functional review
At least 5 years of experience in creating and implementing business plan, action plans, setting budgets in high-volume retail or multi food service industry
English communication skills
Proven leadership abilities and strong track-record of managing managers
MS Office literate
Good knowledge of local and international food scene, especially IKEA Food range
Good knowledge on IKEA Sustainability strategy
Good knowledge on IKEA Food mandatories such as UTZ, RSPO, ASC and MSC
Nice to have:
Potential to become Regional IKEA Food manager or Store Manager
