The Country Controller accomplishes results through the management of professional team and department. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Job Responsibility:
Contributes to the integrity and control of company’s financial books and records as well as the process by which these records are generated
Participates in efforts to embed consistent controls and unify various controller functions performed across businesses including assessing & standardizing financial reporting, setting controls around corporate/regulatory reporting, recommend balance sheet integrity
Responsible for strengthening the independent controls and the control environment throughout the company to support the business in efforts to grow responsibly
Develops and manages the financial control function and is responsible for the external statutory audit, if applicable
Responsible for both internal and external Local financial and regulatory reporting
Integrates subject matter and industry expertise to accomplish business objectives
Participates in short-term planning resource planning
Applies an in-depth understanding of how the finance sub-functions collectively integrate
Applies broad financial theory and in-depth understanding of country standards that impact new developments
Uses communication and diplomacy skills to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers
Manages volume, quality, timeliness and delivery of end results of an area
May have responsibility for planning, budgeting and policy formulation within area of expertise
Manages a team including performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations

Requirements:
Experience in a CFO/Controller role
Experience in Finance and Accounting
Bachelors/University degree
Master’s degree preferred
