Job Responsibility

  • Direct & Lead the overall US Risk Management Group for all INGKA entities in the United States: Retail, CF, Centres, Investments, and all acquired entities
  • Provide tactical & strategic direction & coordination for the US Compliance function
  • Provide tactical & strategic direction & coordination for the US Safety & Security Function
  • Provide tactical & strategic direction & coordination for the US Insurance function
  • Lead, Develop and coordinate all US National Emergency Response and Crisis Management Activities
  • Coordinate and partner with Global/Group/Federal/State/local stakeholders on Risk initiatives on behalf of all US based INGKA entities
  • Lead & develop Enterprise Risk protocols on behalf of INGKA US
  • Direct, Lead, & Coordinate organizational Risk and Exposure Mitigation strategy and protocols with the ability to integrate US regulatory and legal requirements
  • Coordinate and manage all US federal, state, and local authority inquiries, investigations, & audits impacting the US Risk Universe
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments impacting INGKA US operations and goals
  • Provide clear, strategic communication to INGKA global Risk colleagues and US Management on risks, exposure, and opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in risk management or a related Field
  • 10+ years of combined experience in multi-national corporations with progressive leadership growth
  • Preferred experience working with a retailer that earns over $1 billion in sales per year, and with multiple locations in multiple states
  • Comprehensive grasp of the US Safety, Security, Compliance, and Insurance Industries and requirements
