Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) Driver to join our client on a rolling temporary contract. This role will primarily involve forklift truck operation, supporting the safe movement, storage, and dispatch of heavy items within the warehouse.

Job Responsibility

Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently
Loading and unloading heavy items from vehicles
Moving and placing heavy items into racking locations
Retrieving machines from racking for dispatch
Ensuring all loads are handled carefully and stored securely
Following site health and safety procedures at all times
Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Primarily FLT driving
Minimal picking/packing duties, if any
Handling large items, requiring careful and precise forklift operation

Requirements

Valid Counterbalance FLT licence/certification (within the last three years)
Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse environment
Comfortable handling large or bulky items
Good awareness of warehouse health and safety practices
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
