Job Responsibility:
Directly service customers via phone, email, and in-person at the counter on a daily basis
Process orders, inquiries, and detailed quotations with a focus on accuracy and speed as well as upselling high-margin consumables
Actively manage the warehouse component of the role, including picking orders, cutting wire, and putting away stock
Utilize the AS400 ERP and Microsoft Dynamics CRM systems to maintain accurate customer records and inventory data
Assist customers with e-commerce inquiries and navigating digital product catalogs
Maintain a clean and organized counter and warehouse area to ensure safety and efficiency
Requirements:
Approximately 2 years of experience in a customer-facing or retail sales role
Strong multitasking abilities to juggle phone calls, emails, and walk-in customers simultaneously
Competitive 'winning' attitude with a drive to see orders through to completion
Proactive problem-solving skills with a 'customer-solution' mindset
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build long-term relationships
Physical stamina to work in a warehouse environment, including lifting and cutting heavy wire
Proficiency in basic computer systems
Willingness to work on-site in Vaughan (Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM shift rotations)
Nice to have:
Electrical industry experience is a huge asset
Experience with AS400 or Microsoft Dynamics is a significant asset
