As a Full-Time Counter Sales/Parts Associate at QC Supply in Ames, IA, you'll be right in the heart of the action, providing excellent customer service and sales support, as well as ensuring that everything is in its rightful place and ready for shipment.

Job Responsibility

  • Work with QC Supply retail customers, both in-store and over the phone, to understand their needs
  • Recommend to customers the best parts and equipment available
  • Educate new customers on new products and special promotions
  • Properly operate office equipment, handle payment transactions, and efficiently utilize computer operating systems
  • Assist with inventory management, including shelving products and performing cycle counts
  • Maintain inventory levels
  • Work with the warehouse and ensure all materials are properly accounted for
  • Keep parts counter and showroom neat and clean
  • Demonstrate willingness to perform any daily task as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Ability to read and understand English
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced customer driven environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
