Job Description:

As a Counter Sales/Parts Associate at QC Supply in Willmar, MN, you'll be right in the heart of the action, providing excellent customer service and sales support, as well as ensuring that everything is in its rightful place and ready for shipment. From supporting walk-in customers in our showroom, while also flexing to pick, pack and ship, making sure orders are accurate and delivered on time, you'll be an essential part of our team.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work with QC Supply retail customers, both in-store and over the phone, to understand their needs
  • Recommend to customers the best parts and equipment available with which their needs can be addressed
  • Educate new customers on new products and special promotions as well as promote QC Supply products
  • Properly operate office equipment, handle payment transactions, and efficiently utilize computer operating systems
  • Assist with inventory management, including shelving products and performing cycle counts
  • Maintain the inventory levels to assure that there are adequate quantities on hand of all stock
  • Work with the warehouse and ensure that all materials leaving or entering the warehouse are properly accounted for
  • Always keep parts counter and showroom neat and clean
  • Demonstrate a willingness to perform any daily task as assigned

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Ability to read and understand English
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced customer driven environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
  • Strong computer, organizational and written communication skills
  • Sales and customer service skills along with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours a week with occasional overtime

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge in the agriculture industry, as well as parts and equipment used
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office products
