Seeking expressions of interest if you are interested in joining APM New Zealand as a counsellor or psychotherapist delivering high‑quality EAP and ACC‑funded services. You’ll provide brief, evidence‑based assessment and intervention, adapt your therapeutic approach to diverse client and workplace needs, and support wellbeing through practical strategies and strong rapport-building. The role includes opportunities to deliver workplace interventions, facilitate discussions, and collaborate with organisational customers. In the ACC space, you’ll provide trauma‑informed therapy under the Sensitive Claims pathway, support functional and rehabilitation goals in Training for Independence, contribute to Pain Management Services, and deliver therapy for physical injury recovery—all while working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and maintaining high‑quality clinical documentation. This role can be full time or part time (minimum 3 days per week).

Requirements:
Bachelor Qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy with current registration with APC with NZAC or PBANZ
Adapt counselling/psychotherapy theory and models (depth in one or more modalities appropriate to scope) to client needs
Trauma‑informed practice and risk management (safety planning, crisis/urgency pathways)
Uphold professional standards: ethics, cultural safety and responsiveness
Experience in assessment, formulation, and treatment planning appropriate to scope
