Requirements:
A counselling qualification at Diploma or degree level from a recognised course which would meet the requirements for BACP Accreditation
Demonstrable post qualification experience of counselling with clients
Experience of working with young people
Knowledge and experience of applying safeguarding procedures with children and adults at risk
Experience of managing own case load, maintaining highest standards of record keeping, report writing, and referral procedures
Ability to enable young people to access and express emotions and to express, reflect upon and make sense of experiences that are confusing and distressing.
