HCPC registered clinical or counselling psychologist
skilled at working with adults with complex mental health and co-morbid presentations e.g. ASC, complex trauma, personality disorders, functional neurological disorder, disordered eating, depression, OCD and self-harm
previous experience of working within an inpatient or forensic settings
worked in multi-disciplinary teams with patients with eating disorders or complex co-morbid presentations who required interventions based on models such as trauma-focussed CBT, CBT-ED, DBT, PBS and adjustments for neuro-diverse patients

Recognised doctoral-level qualification
Minimum 1 year’s experience working with eating disorder presentations
Experience conducting structured psychological assessments
Competence in CBT
DBT experience desirable
Strong MDT collaboration skills
Resilience, emotional intelligence and ability to work in a dynamic inpatient environment

Job Responsibility

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop formulation-led treatment plans
Deliver evidence-based individual and group interventions (CBT and/or DBT approaches desirable)
Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support holistic patient care
Support emotional regulation and recovery planning for individuals with eating disorders
Facilitate psychoeducation for patients and families
Contribute to MDT meetings, risk discussions and care reviews
