Join Our Team as a Lawyer at Axiom. We are currently seeking Counsel, Pricing & Market Access to support our healthcare clients. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience advising on patient support programs within a pharmaceutical or biotech environment, with strong Fraud & Abuse expertise specifically applied to copay, HUB, and reimbursement support structures. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a high-impact, complex role supporting innovative therapies while shaping compliant patient access strategies in a dynamic pharma/biotech environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide legal counsel on the design, implementation, and oversight of patient support programs, including copay assistance, HUB services, reimbursement support, and services for high-cost and biologic therapies
  • Advise on Fraud & Abuse risk management (including Anti-Kickback Statute, FCA, and related laws) as applied to patient support and access programs
  • Review and assess program structures, vendor arrangements, and patient-facing services (e.g., injection support, access services) to ensure compliance with applicable federal and state requirements
  • Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Market Access, Compliance, and Patient Services teams to support compliant execution of patient access initiatives

Requirements:

  • Direct, hands-on experience advising on patient support programs within a pharmaceutical or biotech company
  • Strong background in Fraud & Abuse laws and their application to copay assistance, HUB services, and reimbursement support programs
  • Experience working within large pharmaceutical manufacturer infrastructures or similarly complex patient support environments
  • Actively licensed and in good standing in a U.S. state

  • Counsel the business on fraud and abuse laws, discount safe harbors, value-based arrangements and other commercial and regulatory areas
  • Must provide practical, business-focused guidance to enable compliant commercialization
  • Compliance & Prevention: Develop internal expertise, programs and policies to ensure compliance with fraud and abuse laws, analyze contracts for potential risks, and provide practical advice to help structure legitimate business arrangements
  • Ensure adherence to corporate Ethics & Compliance policies, including HCP engagements, speaker programs, advisory boards, grants and donations
