Join Uber’s Mobility Legal Team as Counsel, Business Partnerships, and help drive the future of rideshare. We are seeking a strategic commercial attorney to manage the legal aspects of partnerships essential for Uber’s growth. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the legal frameworks for our mobility collaborations with fleets, vehicle manufacturers and technology providers, working in a fast-paced environment to translate business objectives into successful commercial agreements.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the end-to-end legal lifecycle of partnership agreements, from initial drafting to final execution
Partner directly with business leaders, providing clear, actionable legal advice and risk analyses to drive business objectives
Deploy sound legal judgment while reviewing product features and programmatic initiatives to ensure that risk mitigation considerations are factored into operational decisions
Design and implement innovative legal frameworks to scale our partnerships with transportation fleets, vehicle manufacturers, and technology providers
Help expand access to Uber’s platform to new use cases and growth bets
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Business Development, Product, Operations, Employment, Regulatory, Safety and Privacy to provide comprehensive advice and create solutions that allow the business to move quickly and responsibly
Build out negotiation playbooks, templates, and other tools to help standardize and manage the team’s deal portfolio
Requirements:
5+ years legal experience OR minimum 4+ years experience + 1 year Uber internal experience
