Job Description

The town of Scituate seeks qualified applicants for the position of Council on Aging Director. Responsible for the day to day operation of the town of Scituate’s Council on Aging/Senior Center including coordinating programs and activities for the town’s senior population. The Director supervises assigned staff and activities including Outreach/Case Management, Transportation, Food Service and the coordination of volunteers and activities. Prepares and administers operating budgets and reports.

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, geriatrics, or a related field and five years of progressively responsible management experience in social service required
