Council on Aging Assistant

The town of Boylston is seeking to fill the part-time (up to 15 hours/week) position of Council on Aging Assistant, Grade 3. One of the main functions of this position will be electronically scheduling van rides for eligible Town citizens and their caregivers for medical appointments, shopping trips, and recreational events. The hire will be a liaison between citizens and van drivers. Other duties include administrative, clerical, and operational responsibilities relative to COA programs and services, such as: event set up and break down, photocopying, preparing mailings, assisting in programs, maintaining and updating online database, and assisting with our social media outreach. Preferably, the Assistant would complete the required van training and fill in for van drivers if needed.
