Job Description

We are currently looking for a Costing / Quoting Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, your expertise and technical understanding of the manufacturing process will be essential in developing pricing strategies and ensuring efficient and competitive quoting practices. This position will have a 6 days work week in place.

Job Responsibility

  • Respond to RFQs (Requests for Quotation) by evaluating customer requirements and providing accurate, competitive pricing within our internal service level agreement timeframe 24Hrs
  • Maintain client confidentiality through diligent redaction of sensitive information
  • Collaborate with external partners to negotiate best market value and lead times
  • Utilise data to develop innovative internal and external strategies
  • Provide process optimization suggestions through data-driven decisions
  • Enforce internal policies for all suppliers to ensure adherence to our terms and conditions.

Requirements

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree or equivalent
  • Must demonstrate understanding of Mechanical Engineering Drawings (Minimum understanding of GD&T notations required)
  • Excellent written and verbal English Language skills
  • Knowledge of CNC Machining and Sheet Metal manufacturing

Nice to have

Experience working as a quoting or costing engineer in a CNC or Sheet Metal Environment
