Job Description

You will act as a key reference point to promote onboard experiences, inspiring guests to try our variety of products and services. You will contribute to onboard revenue growth within the Sales department, in line with the company strategy and collaborate with Land Experience, Restaurants, Wifi and Bar departments to boost sales and achieve target goals.

  • Identifying and engaging potential customers using proactive and reactive strategies
  • Presenting and promoting onboard products and services (Land Experiences, Restaurants, Wifi and Beverage packages) through effective storytelling
  • Acting as a connector between guests and onboard departments, redirecting them to the most suitable services
  • Boosting onboard revenue through cross-selling and up-selling techniques
  • Ensuring visibility and presence in key areas of the ship
  • Leveraging knowledge of guest profiles and onboard offerings to personalize recommendations
  • Supporting onboard teams and business owners
  • Acting as an ambassador of Costa values and culture
  • Contributing to maintaining a safe and compliant environment

Requirements

  • Secondary school diploma or degree in Tourism, Languages or Humanities
  • At least 1 year experience in Retail/Sales with strong interpersonal skills
  • English and Italian at C1 level, plus an additional European language (French, German or Spanish at B2 level)
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills
  • Customer-oriented mindset and stakeholder management abilities
  • Time management and planning capabilities
