Job Description

Our client, a large fashion retail company, is looking for a Cost Optimization Analyst to join their team! This will be a hybrid role working out of their office in Midtown Manhattan. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, have excellent communication skills, and possess excellent attention to detail. Please no corp-to-corp applicants or third-party agencies. Sub-contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered. Contract Role: 6 months. Pay: $50-60/hr W2 (no C2C). Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days onsite Tuesday-Thursday, Monday & Friday remote.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform seasonal cost analysis and cost mitigation efforts
  • Partner with IT teams on implementing a new cost breakdown tool
  • Support the scoping, requirement identification, and testing of the new costing system
  • Manage the documentation and training process to onboard internal and external users to the costing system

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analysis, IT, or related concentration
  • 2+ years of cost analysis / financial analysis experience
  • 2+ years of business analysis experience (scoping, requirement identification, UAT)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
  • PLM system experience, Centric preferred
  • PowerBI experience
