We’re looking for a Cost Manager Infrastructure to lead the development of high‑quality, defensible cost estimates for major water and port infrastructure projects in South Australia. You’ll play a key role in shaping major water and port investments, work with respected industry partners, and contribute to a growing pipeline of nationally significant infrastructure projects.
Job Responsibility:
Lead end‑to‑end estimating for water treatment plants, pipelines, marine structures, port upgrades, dredging, and coastal works
Develop detailed cost models, benchmarks, and risk‑adjusted estimates
Validate scope and construction methodologies with engineering and planning teams
Provide commercial insights to support procurement, packaging, and market engagement
Build trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders through clear, reliable communication
Support bids, proposals, and business development across the infrastructure portfolio
Requirements:
10+ years’ estimating experience in major infrastructure, with strong capability in water and marine/port projects
Deep understanding of civil, marine, and utility construction methodologies
Strong commercial acumen and ability to navigate scope, risk, and design uncertainty
Proficiency with digital estimating tools and cost databases
Ability to lead teams, coordinate multidisciplinary inputs, and deliver under pressure
