Job Description

Responsible for supporting company decision-making by providing accurate, timely, and insightful financial analyses, forecasts, and management cost reports; combining the practical execution of cost control with leadership to drive data reliability, enable proactive business decisions, and foster collaboration between vessels, corporate, and bidding teams; adopting a hands-on approach to daily processes, coordinating deliverables, improving processes, and aligning stakeholders to achieve high accuracy and efficiency in control activities; and working closely with departments to ensure budgets are established, costs are tracked, and financial targets are met to support the organization's financial stability and success.

Job Responsibility

  • Financial Structuring and Transaction Approval: Ensure all costs are correctly configured in SAP (WBS, Cost/Profit Centers) and approve daily items such as purchase requests, service entries, travel, expenses, provisions, and accounting entries, in accordance with policies
  • Cost Consolidation, Reporting, and Forecasting: Collect and verify cost data, prepare monthly reports, and build reliable forecasts using actual versus budgeted data, trends, commitments, and intercompany transactions
  • Billing Analytics and Support: Provide clear analytics and what-if scenarios to support decisions, collect out-of-system updates (expected purchase orders, delivery dates, schedules, import costs), and compile evidence for customer/head office reporting and reimbursement billing
  • Stakeholder Coordination and Process Governance: Work closely with Operations, Sales/Bidding, Finance, and budget managers to maintain information flow, resolve issues, provide updates as needed, and keep procedures up-to-date, improving processes
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop the team through mentoring, feedback, encouraging collaboration, and developing capabilities to strengthen cost control

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related areas
  • Leadership experience required
  • Experience in cost control, financial analysis, or a similar role is required
  • Strong accounting and financial knowledge, experience preparing financial reports
  • Previous experience in the offshore industry (FPSO Operator, Drilling Companies or other companies in the Oil and Gas sector) is a competitive edge
  • Experience with SAP, power BI and automatization process will be a plus
  • Advanced Excel, mandatory
