Job Responsibility

  • Coordinate and monitor the timely submission of Cost Plans by external Quantity Surveying consultants
  • Manage the pre-qualification process, including identifying, evaluating, and shortlisting suitable tenderer for Management's approval
  • Review tender and contract documents prepared by consultants to ensure completeness, robust contract conditions, and strict alignment with company requirements
  • Lead end-to-end procurement activities, including floating tenders, conducting tender interviews, evaluating bids, and preparing comprehensive award recommendation reports for Management
  • Monitor and ensure the timely, accurate processing of progress claims and payments for both consultants and contractors
  • Evaluate Variation Orders prepared by consultants against contract drawings and provisions to verify legitimacy
  • assist Project Managers in cost control and maintain updated records of Provisional VOs
  • Provide strategic contractual advice to Project Managers, recommending proactive courses of action to mitigate risks and resolve disputes

Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant professional discipline
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience within the property development sector
  • Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end cost and contract implementation process, spanning from initial inception and feasibility to final account resolution
