Job Description:

This role is responsible for monitoring, controlling, and optimizing material expenditures according to budget targets, while working collaboratively with various teams (Finance, Project Manager, Program Manager, Senior Prototype Leader, with Aptiv Plants, Engineering Teams).

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the maintenance of Prototype Material Budget
  • Monitor projects expenditures on a weekly basis to ensure alignment with budget and forecast targets
  • Analyze additional budget needs using a defined checklist methodology (forecast verification, credits availability, project funding requirements, etc.)
  • Review, verify and approve purchase requisitions through multiple systems
  • Conduct regular material forecast reviews with Project Management teams
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance and Operations teams to monitor projects expenses
  • Prepare and present budget status reports to leadership, including detailed data analysis that identifies cost trends and optimization opportunities (advanced excel required)
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives of budget management processes and cost control methodologies

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Strong analytical, data analysis and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience of working In Power BI
