Job Description:

The Cost Analyst role involves evaluating standard vs. actual costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts, and influencing pricing strategies, operational planning, and financial performance.

Job Responsibility:

Analyze cost data and provide variance analysis between standard and actual costs
Prepare monthly financial reports, forecasts, and KPI dashboards
Assist in developing and maintaining budgets and financial models
Collaborate with procurement and operations to monitor cost drivers and identify savings opportunities
Recommend process improvements to reduce waste and increase efficiency

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
3+ years of cost accounting or financial analysis experience in a manufacturing setting
Proficient in Excel and ERP systems (Syteline or Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Effective communicator comfortable working across departments
Understanding of GAAP and financial compliance standards
