Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Cost Admin to join our team in Nashua, New Hampshire. In this role, you will be responsible for managing cost and pricing-related tasks to support manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of cost accounting principles.

Job Responsibility

  • Calculate and update cost records to ensure accurate pricing data
  • Maintain and manage computerized standard cost systems effectively
  • Process job requirements for new manufacturing projects
  • Conduct analysis and calculations for special costing initiatives
  • Assist with the preparation of annual inventory calculations
  • Create and manage Bills of Materials for both existing and new projects
  • Process manufacturing and engineering changes, including Orange Cards, Foundry Cards, and time studies
  • Evaluate costs associated with first production runs for new jobs
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address pricing inquiries
  • Support recordkeeping for patterns, tools, and authorizations while completing assigned projects

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in cost accounting or a related field
  • Proficiency in standard cost accounting practices within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong skills in cost analysis and reporting
  • Familiarity with maintaining and updating cost systems
  • Ability to work accurately with detailed records and calculations
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external customers
  • Experience with Bills of Materials and production cost analysis
  • High level of organization and attention to detail to manage multiple responsibilities
