Job Description

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented, onsite Cost Accounting & Pricing Analyst to help revamp pricing across their manufacturing operation. This role will play a key part in evaluating production costs, refining job costing, and recommending pricing strategies that support healthy margins and long-term profitability. Oahu residents will be given preference due to the nature of the work.

Job Responsibility

  • Rework and analyze pricing across all fabricated and manufactured products, taking into account labor, overhead, waste, and other production-related costs
  • Review and update job costing processes at the manufacturing level to improve accuracy and visibility into true product costs
  • Evaluate current pricing models and recommend margin improvements to support profitability goals
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to validate costing inputs and ensure pricing reflects operational realities
  • Use Excel and existing financial models to perform detailed cost analysis and support pricing decisions

Requirements

  • Prior experience in cost accounting, price analysis, or a related finance/accounting function strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing cost structures, including labor, overhead, and material waste
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work within and enhance existing financial models
  • Experience with job costing in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Industry experience is helpful but not required
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential
