Job Responsibility:
Own and maintain product costing structures within the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and consistency
Manage inventory accounting processes, including standard cost maintenance, labor and overhead rate updates, and variance analysis
Prepare and post journal entries related to inventory, cost of goods sold, reserves, and production variances
Perform month-end close activities related to cost accounting and inventory
Reconcile inventory-related general ledger accounts and support cycle count and physical inventory adjustments
Analyze product margins and cost trends, identifying drivers and opportunities for improvement
Partner with operations and supply chain teams to evaluate manufacturing efficiency, material usage, and cost performance
Support internal and external audits, including documentation related to inventory and cost accounting controls
Assist with transfer pricing processes and intercompany cost structures, as applicable
Prepare ad-hoc financial and operational analysis to support management decision-making
Contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives within finance and operations
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proven experience in accounting management, preferably within a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulatory standards
Demonstrated expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams and present financial insights clearly
