Cost Accounting Manager

• Provide leadership and direction to the global operations accounting team, fostering growth and development with attention to detail
• Develop and implement consistent policies and procedures for manufacturing costing and property accounting across all subsidiaries
• Analyze monthly standard cost changes and manufacturing variances, presenting findings to finance management for informed decision-making
• Collaborate with plant controllers annually to establish standard labor and overhead rates, delivering detailed analysis to management
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies, including adherence to SOX 404 requirements
• Support acquisition accounting and plant consolidation processes, contributing to seamless transitions
• Partner with finance teams to optimize shared services and leverage global capability centers for operational improvements
• Drive initiatives to enhance forecasting accuracy, automate processes, and standardize practices globally
• Execute ad hoc financial projects and analyses as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution
• At least seven years of experience in accounting, with a focus on cost accounting or plant controllership
• Proven ability to collaborate across functions and work effectively in a team environment
• Strong initiative and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage ambiguous situations
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Willingness to travel up to 15%, including occasional extended trips to global plant sites

Experience with global teams and familiarity with systems like Oracle or SAP is preferred
