Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Cost Accountant to join our team in Williamsburg, Virginia. This Contract to permanent position offers a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in cost accounting within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost analysis and standard cost accounting, with at least five years of detail-oriented experience.

Job Responsibility

  • Analyze and report on manufacturing costs to ensure accurate financial tracking

  • Perform detailed cost analysis to identify trends and areas for cost optimization

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of experience in cost accounting, preferably within the manufacturing industry
  • Proficiency in standard cost accounting and cost analysis techniques
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and related cost structures
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting software and tools
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and precision
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
