Position Overview: As a Cosmetology Teacher, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality education to our cosmetology students. You will create engaging lessons, facilitate hands-on training, and help students develop essential skills for their future careers in the beauty industry. Your passion for beauty and education will inspire students and guide them on their professional journey.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
  • Conduct interactive lectures and practical demonstrations covering various cosmetology techniques
  • Evaluate student performance through assessments and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement
  • Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements in cosmetology
  • Support students in achieving their professional goals through mentorship and guidance
  • Monday through Friday 5:00-10:00pm cst

Requirements

  • Active Cosmetology Educator License in the State of Illinois
  • Experience in the cosmetology field with a strong hands-on background
  • Previous teaching experience or a passion for mentoring is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students
  • A deep enthusiasm for the beauty industry and a commitment to student success
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles
