Requirements

Active Cosmetology Educator License in the State of Illinois
Experience in the cosmetology field with a strong hands-on background
Previous teaching experience or a passion for mentoring is highly desirable
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students
A deep enthusiasm for the beauty industry and a commitment to student success
Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles

Job Responsibility

Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards
Conduct interactive lectures and practical demonstrations covering various cosmetology techniques
Evaluate student performance through assessments and provide constructive feedback
Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement
Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements in cosmetology
Support students in achieving their professional goals through mentorship and guidance
Monday through Friday 5:00-10:00pm cst
