Job Responsibility

Accurately prepare and submit federal, state, and local tax returns to prevent any penalties
Monitor adherence to the relevant tax laws and regulations, keeping up-to-date with any changes
Analyze financial data to pinpoint potential opportunities for tax savings
Prepare necessary supporting documentation and assist with tax audits, acting as the point of contact between the organization and tax authorities
Propose tax planning strategies that align with both short-term and long-term financial objectives
Advise on the tax implications of different financial decisions
Collaborate with the Corporate Tax department to manage organizational tax strategies and compliance, including the management of tax deductions and credits for corporate entities
Employ Accounting Software Systems, CaseWare, CCH IntelliConnect, CCH Prosystem, and CCH ProSystem Fx to perform various accounting functions and auditing tasks
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage entity formation processes
