Our client is currently looking for a skilled Corporate Tax Staff Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Trevose, Pennsylvania. This position involves managing financial records and tax compliance for both corporate and individual accounts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, strong analytical abilities, and a commitment to upholding accounting standards.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare accurate journal entries, account reconciliations, and oversee month-end close processes for corporate and individual accounts
  • Generate and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements across various client accounts
  • Ensure compliance by supporting tax filings and preparing documentation for corporate and individual tax returns
  • Develop and enforce accounting policies and controls while adhering to organizational and regulatory standards
  • Address accounting discrepancies and client inquiries in collaboration with internal teams
  • Assist with audit processes by providing required documentation and detailed explanations
  • Manage payroll processing and oversee expense reporting as necessary
  • Utilize accounting software like QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar platforms for daily operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably handling both corporate and individual accounts
  • Strong knowledge of tax compliance, corporate tax returns, and financial reporting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems
  • Exceptional analytical and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Experience with general ledger management and sales tax processes
