You will join a busy corporate tax team, supporting senior colleagues with day-to-day compliance work across a diverse corporate client portfolio. Clients range from owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurial companies to larger corporates, multinational groups and FCA-regulated entities, providing varied and interesting exposure.

Job Responsibility:

  • Preparation of corporation tax computations and CT600 returns
  • Assisting with deferred tax calculations for financial statements
  • Reviewing draft accounts to identify tax issues
  • Handling HMRC correspondence and routine compliance matters
  • Liaising with audit and accounts teams to resolve tax queries
  • Monitoring workflow trackers and maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting senior team members and providing regular progress updates
  • Developing technical knowledge through research and on-the-job learning

Requirements:

  • Ideally 12-18 months' experience in a similar corporate tax focused role at an Assistant or Semi-Senior level working for a reputable UK based firm
  • Solid experience preparing corporation tax computations
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Proactive, self-motivated and keen to develop technically
