Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a highly skilled Tax Analyst to join Corporate Tax. The Analyst will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely execution of accounting for income tax computations in a fast paced, technically challenging environment.

Job Responsibility:

Perform Global (specifically USA) tax accounting and account reconciliation activities supporting the monthly, quarterly and year-end tax provision and tax account reconciliation processes
Prepare monthly Tax provision work papers and assist in the preparation of the year-end external Tax audit work papers
Support Tax Provision process by assisting in the monthly tax system maintenance and updating reports that support the monthly closing process
Collect and process accounting and income tax information
Maintain documentation supporting Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and internal audits

Requirements:

2+ years of Corporate Tax, Public Accounting, Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Reporting experience
equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice to have:

An active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
Masters degree in Accounting or Tax
2+ years Corporate Tax Experience
Financial services industry experience
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Experience working with changing priorities and deadlines
Ability to take on a high level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite experience
Essbase and/or SmartView experience
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to be flexible and adjust plans quickly to meet changing business needs
