As Corporate Sustainability Manager, you will focus on EUDR implementation and timber compliance, with a strong emphasis on due diligence systems (osapiens), supplier traceability, and data validation. Joining our team, you will work closely with internal teams and support broader sustainability compliance topics requiring supplier data and traceability. This position is permanent and based in Munich.
Job Responsibility:
Coordinate and ensure Westwing’s compliance with EUDR and timber regulations (UKTR, Swiss Timber Trade Ordinance), covering supplier traceability, due diligence processes, and audit-ready internal reporting
Operate and maintain the due diligence system (including osapiens and internal trackers) for EUDR and timber compliance, ensuring complete, consistent, and correctly linked supplier, product, and risk data
Review and validate supplier documentation and due diligence outputs for EUDR-relevant and timber-regulated materials, supporting risk assessment and mitigation and ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements
Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., procurement, tech) to ensure availability, quality, and consistency of supplier and material data required for EUDR and timber compliance, and drive timely data collection and follow-ups
Monitor regulatory developments related to EUDR and timber regulations and contribute to audit preparation and documentation, while gradually supporting broader sustainability compliance topics requiring supplier traceability, data validation, and due diligence processes
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in sustainability, compliance, or ESG
Deep, hands-on knowledge of EUDR and timber regulations (UKTR, Swiss Timber Trade Ordinance)
Proven experience in EUDR due diligence, supplier traceability documentation, and validation of complex compliance data
Expertise in compliance platforms like osapiens and project management tools like Asana
Advanced ability to manage structured data in Excel
Excellent organisational and project management skills
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities
A proactive, solution-oriented mindset
Fluency in English
Excellent communication skills
