In this role, you will work at the intersection of trading, strategy, and market structure—gaining exposure to both analytical work and real-world business impact. You will work closely with the Head of Corporate Strategy (India), while collaborating with teams across trading, technology, and compliance. You will also gain exposure to external participants such as exchanges, brokers, and other ecosystem stakeholders.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct research on market structure, regulation, competitors, and new developments
Track and synthesise market structure changes and industry developments, communicating relevant insights clearly
Build and maintain dashboards and trackers to support internal visibility (e.g., market developments, exchange changes, competitive landscape)
Support preparation of business cases and strategic initiatives
Assist in analysing key external and internal drivers impacting the business
Use data tools, programming, and AI-based workflows to improve efficiency and insight generation
Apply a data-driven approach to problem-solving and analysis
Help identify opportunities to automate and streamline recurring processes
Support ongoing strategic projects through tracking, coordination, and follow-ups
Assist in managing multiple workstreams with strong attention to detail
Prepare clear and concise materials (notes, summaries, presentations) for internal use
Assist in mapping the market ecosystem and identifying potential opportunities
Support evaluation of new business opportunities and partnerships
Support interactions with exchanges, brokers, and other market participants where required
Act as a dependable support in day-to-day external coordination
Requirements:
3–4 years of experience in research, capital markets, trading, analytics, or fintech
Strong academic background in engineering, quantitative, or technical disciplines preferred
Analytical and detail-oriented, with a structured and data-driven approach to problem-solving
Comfortable working with data, technology, or basic programming tools
Ability to synthesise information and communicate insights clearly and concisely
Curious and proactive, with an interest in markets and identifying new opportunities
Strong organisational skills with good follow-through
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with different teams
A collaborative team player who is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
