The position offers high visibility within the accounting group and the opportunity to work closely with the Accounting Manager and Controller on a variety of corporate accounting responsibilities.
Job Responsibility
Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process
Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis
Support accounting for accounts payable activities including reconciliations and related analysis
Assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects
Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments throughout the organization
Serve as backup support for cash accounting and accounts receivable functions
Assist with audit requests and financial reporting support as needed
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
2-4+ years of accounting experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, or a combination of both
Experience working within an ERP system
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and overall systems aptitude
Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Willingness to assist with transactional accounting responsibilities when needed
Nice to have
Manufacturing industry experience
CPA or public accounting background
