We are looking for an experienced Corporate Sr Paralegal to join a HR tech/services company. This role plays a key part in ensuring legal compliance, managing litigation, and supporting corporate governance initiatives. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of collaborating effectively in a dynamic, multi-jurisdictional environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Monitor and interpret changes in federal, state, and local laws, providing summaries and guidance to relevant stakeholders
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support compliance initiatives and mitigate risks
  • Manage corporate governance tasks, including documentation, filings, and administrative duties
  • Coordinate litigation activities, including claims reporting, tracking case progress, and assisting with document management
  • Oversee insurance policy renewals and manage related documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent application of compliance policies
  • Prepare reports and analyze compliance-related data to inform business decisions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Paralegal certification is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in paralegal roles focusing on compliance, corporate governance, or litigation support
  • Strong knowledge of employment and labor laws, with multi-jurisdictional experience highly desirable
  • Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication abilities and experience building relationships across departments
  • Proven capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining confidentiality
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and stay current on regulatory developments
