A highly respected, national law firm is seeking a sophisticated Corporate Secretary / Executive Assistant to join our San Diego office. This is a pivotal role providing high-level administrative and organizational support to a team of corporate attorneys. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who thrives on managing competing priorities and possesses a deep understanding of the corporate legal landscape.

Job Responsibility

  • Assist multiple corporate attorneys with the administrative lifecycle of transactional legal services, including document preparation and closing logistics
  • Manage complex calendars, schedule high-stakes meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring all communications are handled with discretion and professionalism
  • Anticipate the needs of the legal team to streamline daily operations and ensure all deadlines are met in a high-pressure environment

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or Corporate Secretary, preferably within a mid-to-large law firm or a sophisticated in-house legal department
  • Solid understanding of corporate and/or transactional legal processes
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • A high degree of initiative, the ability to "own" a project from start to finish, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work product
