A highly respected, national law firm is seeking a sophisticated Corporate Secretary / Executive Assistant to join our San Diego office. This is a pivotal role providing high-level administrative and organizational support to a team of corporate attorneys. The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who thrives on managing competing priorities and possesses a deep understanding of the corporate legal landscape.
Job Responsibility:
Assist multiple corporate attorneys with the administrative lifecycle of transactional legal services, including document preparation and closing logistics
Manage complex calendars, schedule high-stakes meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements
Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring all communications are handled with discretion and professionalism
Anticipate the needs of the legal team to streamline daily operations and ensure all deadlines are met in a high-pressure environment
Requirements:
3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or Corporate Secretary, preferably within a mid-to-large law firm or a sophisticated in-house legal department
Solid understanding of corporate and/or transactional legal processes
Exceptional organizational skills and a mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite
A high degree of initiative, the ability to "own" a project from start to finish, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work product
