Job Description

Sokin is looking for an organised, detail-oriented and proactive Corporate Secretary to support our global corporate governance and entity management activities. In this role you will be a key player in helping to manage Sokin's global legal entity structure and corporate governance processes, ensuring that statutory obligations, corporate records and governance requirements are maintained efficiently and to a high standard across the group. You will focus on the day-to-day coordination and administration of Sokin's corporate secretarial responsibilities, including support for global entities, corporate filings, board and committee meeting logistics, preparation and maintenance of minutes and resolutions, and oversight of statutory books and records. You'll work closely with key stakeholders across Legal, Finance, Compliance and senior stakeholders across the business, as well as with external advisers and company secretarial service providers in multiple jurisdictions.

Job Responsibility

  • Support Sokin's global corporate governance and entity management activities
  • Manage global legal entity structure and corporate governance processes
  • Ensure that statutory obligations, corporate records and governance requirements are maintained efficiently and to a high standard across the group
  • Coordinate and administer corporate secretarial responsibilities including support for global entities, corporate filings, board and committee meeting logistics, preparation and maintenance of minutes and resolutions, and oversight of statutory books and records

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in a corporate secretarial, governance, paralegal or legal entity management role, ideally gained in-house, within professional services, or in a fast-paced international business
  • Strong experience supporting global entities, including statutory filings, maintenance of corporate records, and coordination of governance requirements across multiple jurisdictions
  • Experience preparing and coordinating board and shareholder materials, including agendas, minutes, written resolutions and related governance documentation
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, and able to manage multiple deadlines, stakeholders and workstreams effectively
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Compliance and senior stakeholders, as well as with external advisers and corporate service providers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional, dependable and process-driven approach
  • Experience in financial services, fintech or another regulated international business would be advantageous
  • A relevant company secretarial, governance or legal qualification would be beneficial, but is not essential
