Job Description

Bentley Systems is seeking a Corporate Responsibility Reporting Analyst to play a key role in advancing and communicating our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy. This position is responsible for the collection, governance, analysis, and reporting of ESG data that supports our public disclosures, sustainability ratings, and corporate responsibility reporting. Working cross‑functionally across the organization, the analyst will help ensure the accuracy, consistency, and credibility of Bentley’s ESG narrative. This role partners closely with internal subject matter experts to support regulatory compliance, investor and stakeholder engagement, and strategic ESG initiatives, contributing to Bentley’s long‑term sustainability and ethical governance objectives.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead the collection, management, and reporting of ESG data for sustainability ratings and rankings platforms, including MSCI, ISS, Sustainalytics, S&P Global, and similar frameworks, collaborating with stakeholders to support continuous improvement of outcomes
  • Partner with the Environmental Sustainability Manager and other subject matter experts to ensure data accuracy, alignment, and consistency across ESG submissions and disclosures
  • Oversee preparation of Bentley’s Impact Report, regulatory disclosures (including proxy statements and 10‑K filings), and other internal and external ESG‑related communications
  • Develop clear, compelling ESG narratives for internal and external stakeholders, translating data and performance outcomes into a cohesive corporate responsibility story
  • Monitor evolving ESG regulations and reporting requirements, including preparation for compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD)
  • Support responses to ESG‑related inquiries from investors, users, and internal stakeholders by coordinating with subject matter experts across the organization
  • Continuously improve ESG reporting processes to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, and maintain high standards of data quality, accuracy, and completeness
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening Bentley’s overall ESG performance
  • Partner with the Environmental Sustainability Manager to define ESG reporting strategy, advance program outcomes, and manage complex disclosure initiatives
  • Build strong, effective cross‑functional relationships across Sustainability and Education, Finance, Law and Corporate Advancement, Colleague Success, and Account Advancement to align ESG data with business objectives
  • Provide research support for Bentley’s Export and Trade practice
  • Support regulatory compliance initiatives, including policy updates and training development
  • Contribute to internal communications, corporate culture initiatives, colleague engagement, and philanthropy programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Business, Finance, Communications, or a related discipline
  • 4–6 years of professional experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related field relating to ESG or corporate responsibility
  • Familiarity with ratings and rankings platforms, including MSCI, ISS, Sustainalytics, S&P Global, and similar frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to collect, manage, and analyze complex data sets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear, compelling narratives
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
  • Proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization
  • Strong interest in sustainability, corporate responsibility, and making a positive impact
