Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Corporate Recruiter to support hiring efforts for our government client in Oak Ridge,Tennessee. This role will manage the recruitment process from initial outreach through final selection, helping the organization attract talent with relevant experience across a range of openings. The ideal candidate brings strong sourcing ability, sound interview judgment, and experience working efficiently in a fast-paced recruiting environment.
Job Responsibility:
Lead end-to-end recruitment activities, including intake discussions, candidate outreach, screening, interviewing, and offer-stage coordination
Build and maintain talent pipelines through proactive sourcing strategies across job boards, databases, referrals, and industry networks
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, define candidate profiles, and align recruiting plans with business priorities
Evaluate applicants through resume reviews, prescreen conversations, and structured interviews to identify strong matches for open positions
Coordinate interview scheduling and communication to ensure a smooth and consistent candidate experience throughout the hiring process
Perform reference checks and verify candidate information before final hiring decisions are made
Manage candidate records and recruitment workflows within the applicant tracking system, including accurate documentation and status updates
Support high-volume hiring demands while maintaining quality, timeliness, and consistent communication with stakeholders
Requirements:
3+ years of technical recruiting in the government sector
bachelor's degree in a related field
At least 3 years of experience in corporate recruiting or full-cycle talent acquisition
Demonstrated success sourcing candidates and managing multiple openings in a high-volume environment
Hands-on experience conducting candidate prescreens, interviews, and reference checks
Proficiency using an applicant tracking system
experience with iCIMS is strongly preferred
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities, timelines, and follow-up effectively
Clear communication and interpersonal skills for working with candidates, hiring managers, and internal teams
Ability to assess qualifications thoughtfully and make sound recommendations throughout the hiring process
